Are there humane farms you can buy your animal products at?
Do you Really. Want. To. Know. ?
I will give you a warning when I am linking to information or photos that could be disturbing.
Consider this your warning for the following link.
Humane Farming
On the lighter side of things, I tried chili yesterday. I had a bit.. on a bun.. with vegan margarine.. but still.. it's a step forward. :) I also bought lots of fruit and vegetables today and I put a list on the fridge of what I bought so I won't forget and end up with it all rotting.

My Intentions
I am a picky eater. A VERY picky eater.
I am going VEGAN!
I am going to research nutrition and find healthy foods that I like.
I was vegetarian for 14 years before I became vegan on April 21st 2013.
Here is the post I wrote on Facebook.
Dear Friends and Acquaintances,
I have been a hypocrite. With a capital H. About 14 years ago I became a vegetarian. A few years later I found out what happens to cows and chickens for me to be able to eat cheese, eggs, milk etc. Although these things were not in line with my values I did not become a vegan. I am now 28, so that equals about 11 years of hypocrisy. Worse than this, I have tried to show others what their food choices (including milk, eggs, cheese etc.) do to animals. I have tried to teach these things without living them. Over the past few months I have decided that I can no longer live this way. I have purposely exposed myself to the brutal truth of what cows and chickens have been going through (unwillingly) for me. It has been horrible and traumatizing but it is not something that I should have been forcing you to see day in and day out on my Facebook page. On Sunday I felt that I could no longer live the way that I am living and became a vegan. This is day 2. This will not be easy for me. I have made this decision once before, years ago, and that time I failed. This time I will succeed. 110%, indeed. ☺ I am probably the pickiest eater you know. It will not be easy but I will no longer live as a hypocrite and that already feels wonderful. I am so sorry for the bad name I have given vegetarians and vegans. Please forgive me.
Thank you for joining me on my journey for life. Life for animals and healthy life for me.
